1 Peter 2:18- 21 "For God is pleased with you when you do what you know is right and patiently endure unfair treatment". I met Jesus when I was 8 years old on a holiday program run by Christians. The very first thing they taught us was the principle of 'turning the other cheek'. They could have taught us just about anything.... but in reflection, THAT was the best lesson to plant in the hearts of children. Life needs grace. The strength to give people second chances as God has done for us and I’ve found over the years, its a task I can’t do without Him. That strength comes from knowing I’m loved & seen by Him... that I’m not alone... and that He is barracking for me from heaven. Turning the other cheek takes the risk of getting slapped a second time. But give those risks and your heart to the Lord, and He will be your strength.
