Rivers of Life

The inland rivers of Sri Lanka play host to a myriad of life. There are elephants bathing, rice paddies growing, monkeys playing in the trees above, fish in the waters below, children bathing & mothers washing their clothes. It’s beautiful to see.

A river is a source of beauty & provision. That is why Jeremiah 17:8 says ‘They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes;

its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Our river is the heart of God. It flows from his throne graciously to us, making it the best place to bathe, play, grow, learn & cleanse.

If you desire a life free from worry the key is in this verse and picture. Be as a tree planted by The River, send your roots into the stream of his heart.... and there you will find all you need for life.
