5. Stand

ALIKI (2 Chron 20:17, Ps 37:5-7)

I have fought and I have prayed

To the edge of this day

The only control I have is of self

These obstacles are beyond my reach

Standing at the edge

Of all I've done

There is still a gap I can't jump

Fear of man is past

Fear of failure gone

It would seem that I am spent

So I stand I will stand

Resolute in my place

Though the storm rages on

I'm not without grace

Cause I'm waiting on heaven's next move

I've done all I can do, so now I stand

I have turned and I have bowed

To the circumstance allowed

The majority is Jesus and me

This battle is more than meets the eye

Speaking out my faith

In all you are

Yet there's still a gap I must jump

Just to rest in you

Take eyes off me

The battle is won in abiding
