International Baptist was privileged to have Rob and Aliki come this past September (2008). We had asked them in particular for a ladies' retreat that we were planning, but they were also willing to minister on Sunday morning.

Well, I cannot say enough how blessed we all were by their ministry. All the ladies came away blessed- a written survey showed ALL had an extremely positive experience and many were volunteering to help next year. My own wife felt truly encouraged and ministered to as well. Aliki also sang and spoke briefly on Sunday and our people just took to her.

I love seeing the gifts and talents God has blessed His children with, especially when they use them to directly draw attention to Him, His saving grace, His forgiveness and His power. We were fortunate enough to have Aliki share with some of our students today and the message of hope, purpose, beauty and "colour" will not quickly be forgotten, not only by the students but also the teachers! To see a group of Kindergarten students sit so intently for 40 minutes, completely mesmerised by the story and your voice was amazing! We praise the Lord for your ministry with us Aliki, last Sunday evening.  A number of our young adults brought their friends to the coffee night.  One of our guests stated clearly when she arrived that she was an atheist but after the program she said she appreciated the night out and would think about the stories that you told and how they might apply to her.  Thank you for sharing the Gospel clearly.  Some of the people who are non-church goers said they would come back to another coffee night.  One girl who brought two non-Christian friends took "How To Know God" booklets to give her friends.  Some of the older people who attended said they really appreciated the clarity and sensitivity in the songs and stories.

The presentation was so real to our Australian context.  Thank you for the stories from the Australian outback. You communicated so well and clearly to all the age groups represented. We will continue to talk with the people who came with friends.  We will continue to pray for and seek opportunities to talk further about Jesus to the guests who came.  All the glory goes to God.  There were a number of "God appointments" last Sunday.  We look to Him to keep working in and through you as you share His Word with others.  May the Lord continue to bless you and Rob."
